Here’s what to expect for the month of September:
September Catch List
The water temperature this month is still in the low 80’s and the bite is hot! The yellow butterflies will be flying through the harbor signaling that the mullet run is about to be in full effect. As the mullet flood into our harbors, bays, and creeks; bull redfish, tarpon, sharks, and many other species will be coming inshore for a feeding frenzy! Below are some of the charter packages that we have to offer:
Inshore Fishing
Our Inshore trips include the famous bull redfish, trout, flounder, and tarpon. Following the mullet run, the bull redfish will be pushing into the harbors and bays to spawn throughout the next few months. This makes for some world-class fishing. September tarpon are still crushing mullet schools, and with a little luck, we could jump a 100+ pound fish on any trip.
Fly Fishing
Our fly fishing trips this month will consist of sight fishing redfish in the shallow water, mudflats, and grass flats. We have been catching tripletail, sharks, and have had numerous shots at Lowcountry tarpon. The warm sun brings these fish up shallow to eat shrimp and fiddlers crabs. You will see the tails and backs of the fish, which makes for some incredible sight fishing!
Shark Fishing
Our shark trips are action-packed! While reeling in these dinosaurs from down deep, you can expect an incredible fight. We’ll be catching Black-tip, Atlantic Sharp-nose, Spinner Sharks, and Tarpon. If you want sore arms and an action-packed day, a shark trip is the one for you!
Nearshore & Offshore Fishing
Our nearshore and offshore trips are action-packed adventures that are 20-40 miles offshore. You will be catching cobia, vermillion snapper, ringtail snapper, grouper, amberjacks, and big reef sharks. If you’re looking to fill your freezer with fresh fish, this is the trip for you!
